Founder Mike Lovell was born in Cleveland, Ohio and earned his undergraduate degree in Finance from Arizona State University. He went on to earn his MBA from Cleveland State University, before founding his first business. He has dedicated his life to building businesses, and more importantly, the thriving culture that supports any successful business.
Mike has been married for over 20 years, and they have three beautiful children. He dedicates the majority of his time to family endeavors, which include supporting his children’s car racing and show horse jumping careers. In his free time he enjoys collecting and restoring vintage automobiles, volunteering with the Boy Scouts and various professional board memberships. Mike’s most proud accomplishment is his family. The Lovell family currently resides in Arizona, with investments throughout the United States.
A History of True Operational Leadership
Having personally taken outside investments, including private equity investments, early in our family’s trajectory, as well having sold businesses to new owners, we deeply understand the emotion and trepidation that comes with these actions. Our goal is to acquire successful operations, or in many cases join forces with successful operators to assist in getting to the next level. From experience, we know that the biggest challenge to growth is capital. It’s not just the lack of capital, but even more so the resulting decisions that are made based on emotion, due to capital constraints. The ability to use your talents to their fullest, and to experience the extreme growth that is possible when emotion and capital no longer drive decision making, are simply amazing!
